The following lists, in reverse chronological order, the approval of each Chapter of the Rules & Policies and each change made thereto after such approval. Dates are the date of the Board meeting (or other event) that made the change.
March 27, 2025: Open House dress code modifed in Chapter 111(H)(2).
February 27, 2025: Rules and process for suspension for financial delinquency in Chapter 241(A)(1) revised and simplified. Billing period for Nonresident dues and assessments in Chapter 115 changed to calendar years, rather than August-July. Proposed Bylaw amendment regarding electronic voting and notices, for member approval at a meeting to be determined.
January 23, 2025: Sentence added to USTA Team Policy to reflect understanding of current rules.
December 30, 2024: Chapter 110 modifed per resolution adopted by the voting members to increase and extend the assessment. Member approval of capital project to remodel food and beverage facilities noted in Chapter 221.
December 5, 2024: Chapter 110 modified per Board MSP to: increase dues, increase both the Active and the Social initiation fee and increase the Junior initiation fee for ages after age 9. Approved winter pickleball use of courts 7 and 8, subject to certain requirements, in Chapter 122. Grant of Complimentary membership to address an unusual situation noted in Chapter 240, and authorization of expanded nanny pass noted in Chapter 113.
October 24, 2024: Adopted policy on striping tennis courts for pickleball in Section 122(4). Adopted requirement of proof of eligibility for joint membership in Section 144(F)(2).
September 26, 2024: Made small (less than a dollar) adjustments to two proposed assessments in Section 110(A)(2).
July 25, 2024: Added an express exception allowing nursing mothers to use the Women's locker room in Section 139(2). Resolved to propose an inflation adjustment to the assessment in Section 110(A)(2). Approved changing the name of the DEI Committee to "Culture & Community."
May 23, 2024: Clarified the rule regarding supervision of children in subsection 113(A)(2); expanded allowed solications for the scholarship fund by means of signs/displays in subsection 261(B)(2)(a)(iv).
April 25, 2024: Modified the Nonresident rules to (i) add interpretation of "permanent residence and domicile" and create rebuttable presumption in Section 146(1) and (ii) confirm obligation to pay back charges, and limits thereon, in Section 146(7). Lawn dining no show/cancel fee modified. Added explicit definition of "immaterial" leases in Section 220(D)(2) and modified treatment of leases pursuant to the capital expenditure policy in Section 221(D)(2) and Section 221(E)(2). Formally established the Communications Manager as the editor of the newsletter in Chapter 290(C). Assured members there will be no material change to the clay courts without a member vote.
March 28, 2024: Event no show/cancel fee modified. Life of DEI Committee extended to 2025.
March 20, 2024: Modified, per Board MSP of November 30, 2023, upon member vote to approve technical Bylaw amendment; conforming quotations to amended Bylaws; and making various rules and policies consistent with the amended Bylaws. The only chapters modified (other than by modifying direct quotations from the Bylaws) were: 142, 145 and 210.
February 22, 2024: Added a new section regarding reapplication for membership after a denial or withdrawal. Minor changes to Part D of Chapter 250.
January 25, 2024: Chapter 110 modified per Board MSP to increase guest fee for league and cup play from $15 to $17.
November 30, 2023: Chapter 110 modified per Board MSP to: increase dues and increase the ordinary initiation fee. Creation of two ad hoc committees noted in Chapter 260: Clay Courts and Member Dining. Grant of temporary Complimentary membership to address an unusual situation noted in Chapter 240.
October 26, 2023: Adopted rule prohibiting studded snow tires in Chapter 111. Adopted rule limiting indoor tennis court use to tennis play in Chapter 121.
September 28, 2023: Authorized the General Manager to make exceptions to the rule regarding dogs in Chapter 111. Gave blanket approval for short surveys immediately after events in Chapter 219. Modified the capital expenditure provision regarding "special" capital projects by (i) increasing the cost threshold in 221(F)(1) and (ii) updating the definition of "necessary" in 221(E)(5) to include repairs and replacements in some cases.
May 25, 2023: Modified Chapter 261 to allow reasonable solicitations for Scholarship Fund contributions on the Club's private Facebook group.
April 27, 2023: Added Parts 129(A) and 130(B) regarding instruction and lessons.
March 23, 2023: Clarified Section 142(B)(4), adding subsection (e). Modified Chapter 142 to make members ineligible for scholarship grants.
March 15, 2023: Modified, per Board MSP of December 1, 2022, upon member vote to approve Bylaw amendment regarding Emeritus membership, including new rules in Chapter 147; conforming quotations to amended Bylaws and addition of quotations as appropriate; and making various rules and policies consistent with the amended Bylaws. Chapters modified were: 111, 121, 141, 142, 144, 145, 147, 210, 212, 213, 229, 240, 242, 250, 254, 269 and 270.

to narrow the definition of "Food Charges" that count toward the quarterly food minimum in

to add detail regarding staff discretion to waive late fees in
Section 115(4)(1);
to confirm reduction of minimum age to use Fitness Room from 16 to 12 in
Section 133(5);
to clarify the requirements for sponsors and references for JSP to Senior Transfers and other applicants,
to confirm the previous removal of the policy of offering guest cards to applicants for Membership by Marriage, and
to make other nonsubstantive editorial changes in
Chapter 142;
to reflect subcommittees that are no longer standing in
Chapter 269; and
to make non-substantive editorial changes to
115(1)(a), 131(A)(11), 132(A)(9), 133(A)(6), 134(6), 144(F)(5), 144(G)(2) & (3) and 280.

August 25, 2022: Chapters 141, 145, 146, 213, 241, 251, 253, 257, 258, 259, 260, 269 and 280 approved by the Board, including small changes made to the previously-approved Chapters 213 and 280.
July 28, 2022: Chapters 110, 115, 151, 220, 221, 229, 242, 250, 252, 270, 280 and 290 approved by the Board.
June 23, 2022: Chapters 0, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214 and 219 approved by the Board.
