For all transfers from JSP to Resident Active - and for all transfers to Nonresident Active that occur on or after August 1, 2019 - the fee for transfer from JSP to Active membership is payable at the following times:

At transfer 20% of the total transfer fee
At age 30 30% of the total transfer fee
At age 35 50% of the total transfer fee

6/27/19: Effective August 1, 2019 all JSPs who transfer to Nonresident senior membership are required to pay their JSP to Senior Transfer fees on the same schedule and in the same amounts as JSPs who transfer to Resident senior membership.

Members who transferred from JSP to Nonresident senior membership before August 1, 2019 will pay their JSP to Senior Transfer fees on the schedule and in the amount determined at the time of their transfer to senior memberhip, which defers a portion of the fee until they become a Resident member (the details of this deferral varying depending on when the transfer occurred). This "grandfathering" treatment is required by the Bylaws: see Chapter 220.

3. Other. There is no initiation fee for a Membership by Marriage.

The Active initiation fee does not include children.

4. Junior Initiation Fees. Junior initiation fees are payable at admission of each Junior member. The amount is the same whether the new Junior is the child of a pre-existing Active member, or admitted along with an Active parent or parents.

The amount depends on the age of the child at admission, and is equal to the amount below plus current Junior dues from the child's most recent birthday to the time of admission.
