Only Seattle Tennis Club pros are permitted to instruct or teach tennis or pickleball at the Club, except with the advance approval of the Director of Tennis. Use of the gym for pickleball lessons requires the advance approval of both the Director of Tennis and the Athletic Director.

1. High School Team Practices. The Club will make courts 1-4 available during the school year on a walk-on basis to local high schools having at least one STC member for team practices from 3-5 pm on weekdays. High school team practices will be restricted as follows:
(i) There must be a ratio of at least one STC member per court used by the high school team.
(ii) Use must be approved by the Director of Tennis in advance.
(iii) Use is conditioned on entering into an agreement as to appropriate behavior, and compliance with the agreement and all Club rules.

2. Special Privileges for Non-Member Juniors. The Director of Junior Tennis may from time to time allow non-members under the age of 19 who demonstrate outstanding talent and promise as tennis players the privilege of using the Club's courts and participating in junior tennis programs and events without payment of a guest fee or other charge (except as determined by the Director of Junior Tennis), provided that such privileges shall be extended only for limited periods of time not in excess of a year, and may in any event be revoked at any time for any or no reason.
The Director of Junior Tennis shall report to the Tennis Committee when such privileges are allowed, extended, modified or revoked. Such privileges may also include use of the pro shop, the snack bar and the fitness room, but do not extend to other facilities and do not include the other privileges of membership.
1. Ten and Under Court Lines. Three tennis courts (number 14, 15 and 16) shall be painted with "ten and under" junior tennis lines.

2. Windscreens. Outdoor court windscreens are to be in place by April 15th and removed by October 31st each year. They should be replaced with winter backdrops as soon as possible.

2. Pro Shop Open for Reservations. The Pro Shop is to remain open year round, except Club holidays, in order to implement the reservation system for members wishing to use the indoor courts. When the Pro Shop is not open, reservations will be available on GameTime.
3. Pro Shop - Whites. The Pro Shop shall sell tennis attire which meets the STC dress code for wear on the courts, along with such other tennis attire and other items as the Pro Shop manager determines it is advisable to offer.

Tennis tournaments and events approved by the Board of Trustees may take priority over tennis courts, on such courts and at such times as determined by the Tennis Captain, the Director of Tennis and appropropriate event officials, consistent with the Board’s approval of the event. These include but are not limited to the Washington State Open, NCAA tournaments, the Denny Cardinal Cup, junior tournaments and mixed doubles round robins.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Jack Frost mixed doubles matches do not have priority over ordinary use of courts.
