The Club shall have one person designated to represent the Club with the media (this includes print, radio and television). That person shall be the General Manager. If the General Manager is not available, the President, or the Vice President in the President’s absence, shall be the designated alternate.
Confidential information will not be divulged to the media, nor to any other outsider who does not have a legitimate need to know. Such information includes but is not limited to membership data, financial data, physical description of the premises and any information pertaining to staff.
No individual (including any committee chair, committee member or member) is authorized to speak for the Club to third parties, to take a position on behalf of the Club or to commit the Club to any agreeement, undertaking or understanding, except for:
(i) the President, or another officer of the Club, within the scope of his or her office;
(ii) the General Manager, within the scope of his or her authority, or another employee of the Club to whom the General Manager has delegated such authority, within the scope of such delegations;
(iii) an attorney with Davis Wright Tremaine, the Club's general counsel;
(iv) another attorney who has been engaged by the Club to represent it pursuant to a written engagement letter, within the scope of his or her engagement.
The Communications Manager has been formally established by the Board as the editor of the newsletter, in order to ensure the diversity of Club-relevant content, with the goal that articles are educational, inspirational, and entertaining. The editor will request specific content from various STC Committees, offering each Committee an opportunity to contribute within the year. All newsletter contributors will be asked to write on topics selected by the editor for the publication to increase the breadth, variety, and interest of content, and lean into content areas in which data demonstrates the greatest member interest. The editor will edit and assemble contributions into the final copy of the publication.

The corporate seal of the Seattle Tennis Club shall consist of a circular disc with the words
"Seattle Tennis Club, Seattle, Washington" in the outer circle, and the words "Corporate Seal, 1914" in the inner circle
